CIRCLE OF THE YEAR

It is said that our ancestors perceived only two seasons, SUMMER and WINTER. SPRING and AUTUMN were added later, but they certainly perceived periods that were something special and during which they celebrated various holidays and performed various ceremonies. These periods are naturally divided into eight parts, which we can also perceive in this symbol:
