WELESLAW

and whether VelesSlav, i.e. the one who glorifies the god VELES. Yes, VELES is my truly related deity, but in truth I celebrate most of the Slavic deities and magical beings, and I also respect the deities of other religions or spiritual paths, because

EVERY SPIRITUAL PATH IS RIGHT IF IT HAS A HEART.

I actually set out on my spiritual path as a small boy. It started with Christianity, when during socialism a classmate secretly brought me books of Christian doctrine. Well, I felt that it was not my path, so I looked in the books of philosophers and spiritual teachers. I started meditating, practicing yoga, studying the Silva method or Rejka. I even had my own spiritual group in the basement of the apartment building.

I cannot fail to mention Karate and other martial arts, which also shaped my spiritual path.

At university, I also started studying Zen - Buddhism. Well, shamanism became the closest spiritual direction to me, and I even got the nickname Shaman in those days. The shamanic path was really close to me, where I already started to meet various spiritual beings on my way.

During my stay in Great Britain, on the summer solstice in 2002 at Stonehang, I met a guy, a druid. It wasn't until years later that I found out that Jon was actually the head druid at the time. During our conversation and contemplation together, I asked him if I could also walk the path of a Celtic spiritualist and if he could also ordain me as a druid. He put his hand on my forehead and said NO.

YOUR GODS ARE NOT CELTIC, SEARCH IN YOUR ROOTS.

I suddenly understood that the beings and gods I meet on my way are Slavic, so I adopted the name WELESLAW. Maybe because it was during the Stonehenge solstice I spell it with a double W.

After returning to Slovakia, I began to meet people who were already following the path of Slavic spirituality, and even a little later I myself participated in the founding of the Slavic Spiritual Community SVÄTOHÁJ, in which we began to devote ourselves to the invocation of Slavic deities and the performance of old Slavic rites and restoration of the NATIVE FAITH of the ancient Slavs.

Over time, I also started writing books about the gods, ceremonies, rituals and beings of the Slavs, as well as Slavic stories and fairy tales. I finally got around to starting this website of mine to share my journey.

Welcome!
