Note: The figure of Death as a being has been known in the history of mankind since ancient times, often in a male form in the form of a skeleton, but also in a female form, where among the Slavs we meet a beautiful maiden in a white dress with a candle or a lantern in her hands or in the form of a hideous old woman - Toothless, often with a scythe or scythe. Among the Slavs, we can explain this variability of depiction that in the feminine essence it is the goddess Morena herself and in the masculine essence it is her son whom Morena sends, when the flame of life burns out, to the soul of a person to lead it to the underworld. Death, together with the god Prov, decides whether a person's soul will go to the bright or dark side of the underworld. Death can also be a very good counselor and teacher, since he knows the destinies of all living beings, it is said that for each of us his Death stands behind his left shoulder.
