Function: son of the primeval god Svarog, also called Radegast, Radegost, the surname Svarožič is derived from his father Svarog, meaning son of Svarog, He is the god of the sun, light, goodness, heat, nature, wealth, gifts and help, the embodiment of courage and strength, he is eternal warriors against demons and evil                       

Image: a stout young man in bright glittering golden armor on a golden chariot pulled by exuberant white horses. His long golden hair is fastened with a golden sun crown. He is armed with a flire sword, which he received as a gift from his father Svarog. He often appears as a four-headed god looking from his chariot to all directions. Each of his faces represents one of his incarnations.               

Incarnations and descendants: as Jarilo - god of the spring sun, Kupalo - god of the summer sun, Svantovít - god of the autumn sun and Koliada - god of the winter sun. And actually all Slavic clans are derived from the god Dažbog, that is why the old Slavs were also called Dažbog's grandsons.                                  

Symbols: solar disc, svarga, golden chariot, white horse, flaming sword, sunflower, beech, gold Saturday      

Sacrifices: bread, eggs, honey, cereals, poppies, peas, linen, wine, flowers, landscapes, various types of crops and fruits. All sacrifices are offered to Dažbog and sometimes a solar deity. Her masculine depiction could be explained by her being considered a powerful warrior and a connection to the sun due to her temporary, conjugal union with the sun god.                  

Holidays: it is naturally celebrated in the annual rhythms of the solstices and equinoxes.     

Note: The Dažbog of symbolism mounts his chariot as a child, but returns home as an old but still mighty old man. His first wife was Chors, the second Morena. the third Ziva. The summer solstice is dedicated to the celebration of the sun god as well as prayers for a good harvest to come. During the Vaján Summer Solstice celebration, it is customary to build large bonfires, dance around them and jump over them.
