DIVA

Function: The beautiful daughter of the goddess Luna, she is the wife of Vodanova, the empress of the waters. She took over the rule of the water fairies and mermaids after her mother Chors, the goddess of the moon. She was also entrusted with the art of healing.

Image: She appears in a white or green-blue dress richly decorated with pearls and some kind of underwater jewels. Her beautiful face is framed by long red hair on which she wears a silver tiara or crown..

Symbols: Pike, trout, jug.

Sacrifices: Bread, egg, butter and wine, horse's head, rooster, goose, duck, cakes, berries and fruits, gold, silver and money, weapons and she likes flowers, she likes when the trees near the water are decorated with colorful ribbons.

Holidays: The biggest festival of water deities is associated with the festival of Živa in the first days of May, and the second festival of water beings is in mid-July.
